Hi everyone! I am Tracy from Salem, OR and I wanted to reach out and share my positive experience with the Lightbox: My husband and I are huge DIY enthusiasts and we had no issues building the device - It only required minimal tools, and together with my family we have been using it to reuse our surgical and cloth masks time and time again to protect ourselves from the pandemic and from the wildfires. Please let me know if there's any way I could help out and spread the word out. We have been working with one of the local kindergartens and would love to share our experience further.
Best,
Tracy
I am Evan, member of the local makerspace in Naperville, IL. I am also very happy with the build, and would love to share my 3 lightbulb version with anyone interested. You can reach me at evan_b@yahoo.com
Hi everyone, I am Steve from Mississauga, ON and relatively new to the DIY community. I loved reading about lightbox and I can't wait to share my experience with building it soon.
Gavin from Hanover, PA. I am a schoolteacher and was hoping to alleviate some of the pressures that my students face - considering the price of commercial sterilization, I decided that a DIY build is the only option. I am curious whether you can point to why dry heat might be better than a UV based approached, especially with the cloth masks that some of my students wear - would heat represent a fire hazard?
Thanks
Hello! Chris from Bethlehem, PA. Would love to hear about any experiences with building a smaller device - I was hoping to only use it at home to treat family's masks and maybe i could save money by building a smaller one. thanks
Hello, my name is Alice and I'm from Chicago. I wanted to express how happy I am to have found out about Lightbox!
It really makes life a lot easier and the fact that you don't have to be an expert to be able to build it is just amazing.
I will definitely spread the word about it.
Alice
Hello I am Chandler from Toronto, ON and I found out about Lightbox from a friend of mine. He has been very happy with it
and I am looking forward to building it too. It is a really helpful tool that we all can make use of during this pandemic.
Hello I'm Elsa and I live in London.
I was very excited when I fist heard about this and I cannot wait to try it out.
I intend on building a little bit bigger version for my needs so I will post an update on how it turns out.
Thanks!
I'm Ross from London, UK. I want to make one for domestic use because I have a big family and we need an efficient way of sterilizing our masks. It doesn't seem very hard to build and as I see there are a lot of people who have already built it so I am curious to try it out and see how it works out for us.
